Here are a few more cards I have created, as well as some birthday gift tags. Sadly, there was (apparently!) a huge smudge on my lens that I didn't notice until I uploaded these pics!! Oops =P

"Thinking of You"

"Yippee!!" Birthday Gift Tags

"hi"

"miss you" masculine stripes

That's all for now =)

Thanks to Our Wonderful Neighbour!

Here is a card I made to thank our wonderful neighbour for shovelling our porch and steps for us. We are so grateful for the extra help, especially with two small children! I am also a cake decorator (see my website, www.MarkItWithAbby.webs.com) and so I whipped up some cupcakes with custom "grateful" wrappers to match the card.

The front.

Inside, a couple extra stamps. =)

The matching envelope, the card, and a cupcake in its custom made "grateful" wrapper.

Side view of "grateful".

Hope you like it, and even more, I hope they enjoyed their treat =)
Thanks for looking!

More ... Finally!

It's been a little while since I've added to the CG&E Collection ... Time seems hard to come by lately ... Anyway, here are a few new ones.

Sweet Daisies
May look familiar - I changed an old card that I wasn't happy with
and I think it turned out cute this time around ... it's never too late =P

Pop Princess
Another diva card for a little music-loving princess.

You're The Best
I so badly need a better camera ... the colours on this one are very cute together ...

Wild, Flirty, Exotic, Sexy
This would be cute from a girl to a close girlfriend ... maybe personalize inside with
"You're FABULOUS at 40!", for example. Each colour is embossed with a different animal print -
blue = peacock feathers, pink = zebra,
lime green (looks yellow in pic) = snake skin, purple = leopard
LOVE it <3 ... very "me" ... =D

Hope you enjoyed these ones ... I am currently out of order (ie: out of ATG tape) and not sure WHEN I will be back in "business" ... but I will keep you "posted" ... =)

The CG&E Line Keeps Growing

Here is another simple card that I wanted to create for little "rock divas", with my friend's 6 year old daughter in mind. She likes things with animal print, girly skulls, sparkly stuff but with an edge. I hope I captured that while keeping it plain enough for multiple uses - birthday, thinking of you, congratulations/well done.

Diva Rock Star

I also made a few embellishments after seeing how cute Scrap Booker Ash's turned out.

Paper Rosettes

I will be picking up some more things for the centres so they are not all pearls, diamonds, and bows. But I think these ones are pretty cute for my first ones =) Please let me know what you think!!

Another card I HAD to try ...

I came across this one the other day online and just HAD to try. However, this one, I was not about to attempt without instructions!! Turns out though, that it was really quite simple, yet very cool =P I made it for my son, Sevin ("Sev") and though I haven't finished decorating it yet, I was taking pictures of some other work and figured I would post this one at the same time. Let me know what you think!!

Here is the front. It doesn't lay flat.

And ... ta-da!

The inside!

I hope you like it. I might post a pic of it when I complete it. The trickiest part of cards like this one and the exploding box I made yesterday is that you need a lot of little things to fill in the blanks! I think photos would be nice, but I didn't have any on hand that I was willing to chop up, haha ... =D

More of the CG&E Line

Here are a couple more cards from the CG&E Line. I am disappointed with the way my photos are coming out. Colours are off, and they just do not do them justice. Anyway, these ones are simple and cute.

Enjoy =)

Butterfly Mother's Day
(the backdrop was BLACK ... card is fuschia and white ... stupid camera ...)

Diamonds and Dashes for Dad

Not sure if these were even worth posting ... such lousy quality!
Sorry!

AA Challenge #2

Our 2nd Challenge was to create a card (for any occassion) that had a different type of fold than a basic card. I had come across "exploding box" cards online and had been wanting to give them a try. I used this challenge as an opportunity to give it a go! Mine isn't too elaborate but you get the idea. It was very simple to do, and only time consuming because I couldn't think of how I wanted to fill the spaces. This one is meant to look like a plain parcel on the ouside, because the recipient is a UPS Delivery Man.

Ready for gifting.

Twine untied and being opened.

*EXPLOSION*
(box/card falls open)

The "just for you" pocket is the perfect size
for a gift card. (My oldest son still has to sign the card!)

Some glittery chipboard accents and stamps.

Last view.

I hope you like it!
I am happy with it for my first attempt, and no instructions.
(I used my own measurements and methods).
Please leave a comment!

Have a GREAT weekend!! =)
